Missouri Department of Health WIC Program Increases Income Guidelines for Services

St. Charles County - The St. Charles County Department of Community Health and the Environment has announced that the income guidelines for the WIC Program have changed. WIC (The Special Supplemental Food Program for Women, Infants, and Children) provides specific nutritious supplemental foods and nutrition education to pregnant and breastfeeding women, postpartum women, infants, and children up to age 5 at no cost to the individual.

The income guidelines for the WIC program have increased. WIC guidelines count the unborn child as a member of the family when income eligibility is determined. The program is open to persons who meet the WIC income guidelines shown below and are determined by health professionals to be at nutritional risk.

The program, administrated by the St. Charles County Department of Community Health and the Environment, has sites in O’Fallon, Wentzville, and the city of St. Charles.
