Public Hearing Set for Utility Waste Landfill Proposal

St. Charles County, MO - The St. Charles County Division of Environmental Services is considering a request by AmerenUE to construct and operate a utility waste landfill at the Sioux Power Plant off Highway 94 between Portage des Sioux and West Alton.

A public hearing on this request is scheduled for Wednesday, May 9 at 7:00pm in the Multi-Purpose Room (Room 115) of the St. Charles County Administration Building, 201 North Second Street in St. Charles. People who need accommodations should call (636) 949-7415 prior to the meeting.
