Pet Adoption Day is coming to the St. Charles Family Arena
Dozens of animals will be available for immediate adoption

St. Charles County (May 4, 2004) - The St. Charles County Division of Humane Services is hosting a Pet Adoption Day at the St. Charles Family Arena on Saturday, May 8 from 10am to 4pm. St. Charles County Humane Society and St. Charles City Animal Control will also be participating in the event.

Dozens of animals will be available for immediate adoption and admission to the event is free. A professional animal trainer will be on-hand to answer questions and give advice to pet owners. “This event is way for us to showcase all of the dogs in St. Charles County that are currently available for adoption,” stated Theresa Williams, director of St. Charles County’s Division of Humane Services.

The St. Charles County Pet Adoption Center serves St. Charles County through sheltering and adopting animals, providing pet owner education, animal control services, and investigation of incidents involving animal cruelty and neglect.
