"Spot" a Canine Companion

October is National Adopt a Shelter Dog Month

St. Charles County, MO - Are you looking for a furry friend to join your family? October is National Adopt a Shelter Dog Month, and the St. Charles County Pet Adoption Center is the perfect place to find the dog of your dreams.

Canines of many breeds, sizes, and ages are available at the Pet Adoption Center, located at 4850 Mid Rivers Mall Drive. If a dog isn't your "thing", we also have plenty of cats looking for their new "forever home."

While other centers charge adoption fees of 100 dollars or more, the St. Charles County Pet Adoption Center offers an outstanding value. Puppies can be adopted for 60 dollars, while adult dogs are 50 dollars. The adoption fee for a kitten is 40 dollars, and for adult cats, it's just 30 dollars. Our adoption fee includes a thorough health examination for your new pet, initial vaccinations, spay or neuter service, temperament education, and microchipping.

The Pet Adoption Center serves St. Charles County through sheltering and adopting animals, providing owner education, animal control services, and investigating incidents involving animal cruelty and neglect. The center is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00am to 5:00pm. For more information, call (636) 949-PETS (7387) or visit www.scchealth.org.
