County's Holiday Adoption Day Is Saturday
Special Event Provides Help in Selecting Pets as Holiday Gifts

St. Charles County -As the Christmas holiday approaches, many families are considering giving themselves a special gift with a wagging tail or purring personality. To assist St. Charles County residents with the process of selecting the appropriate pet for your household, the Pet Adoption Center, located at 4850 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, is hosting a Holiday Adoption Day from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday, December 20.

The Holiday Adoption Day event allows families to visit the facility before Christmas to select a pet. New pet owners can speak with a dog trainer or a cat behavior specialist, adoption counselors, and medical advisors about pet ownership. Photographs will also be taken of the adopted animals with their new families. Admission to the Holiday Adoption Day is free. Adoption fees are $30.00
