Christmas Tree Recycling

Free service begins soon

 

St. Charles County, MO - Once the holiday hubbub is over, don’t forget to recycle your live Christmas tree. Once again this year, St. Charles County is partnering with our communities to offer this free service. Your tree will benefit our environment by being turned into mulch. Be sure to remove the tree stand, decorations, and plastic bag or tree cover before leaving your Christmas tree at one of the following locations.

O'Fallon Civic Park (upper parking lot), 400 Civic Park Dr.
O'Fallon Sports Park (phase I), 3589 Hwy. K
Locations open dusk to dawn, seven days a week, December 26 to January 13
St. Peters Laurel Park (upper parking lot), off McClay Rd.
St. Peters Golf and Recreation Center, 200A Salt Lick Rd.
St. Peters Earth Centre, 115 Ecology Dr.
Locations open 7:30am to 5:00pm, Monday thru Saturday, December 26 to January 21
Lake St. Louis Public Works, 2550 Lake Saint Louis Blvd.
Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, December 26 to January 21
Wentzville Quail Ridge Park (group picnic area), 5501 Quail Ridge Pkwy.
Open 7:00am to 6:00pm, seven days a week, December 26 to January 21
Progress Park (upper parking lot), 968 Meyer Rd.
Open 8:00am to 8:00pm, seven days a week, December 26 to January 20

Non-foil gift boxes and wrapping paper can be recycled at Recycle Works West, 2110 E. Pitman Ave. in Wentzville, 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Saturday, or at Recycle Works Central, 60 Triad South Dr. in St. Peters, 8:30am to 4:30pm Tuesday through Saturday.
