COMMUNITY HEALTH CLINIC EXTENDS HOURS

St. Charles County, Missouri –To accommodate the needs of its clients, the St. Charles County Department of Community Health and the Environment’s Immunization Clinic will offer extended service hours beginning Jan. 3, 2011.

Located at 1650 Boone’s Lick Road in St. Charles, the Immunization Clinic is available for all members of the community, but those who do have health insurance coverage are encouraged to obtain vaccinations from their private health care provider. Patients using the clinic must schedule an appointment prior to their visit and should call 636-949-1857 to schedule a convenient time. All patients 18 and under are asked to bring their immunization record to the visit.

Immunization Clinic hours are:

Day Morning Session Afternoon Session
Monday 8:30 to 11 a.m. 1:30 to 4 p.m.
Tuesday 8:30 to 11 a.m. 1:30 to 5 p.m.*
Wednesday 8:30 to 11 a.m. 1:30 to 4 p.m.
Thursday CLOSED CLOSED
Friday 8:30 to 11 a.m. 1:30 to 4 p.m.
Saturday CLOSED CLOSED
Sunday CLOSED CLOSED
Holidays CLOSED CLOSED
*On the second Tuesday of each month, the Clinic will remain open until 7 p.m.

Promoting healthy choices and lifestyles to improve the overall health of the community is the mission of the St. Charles County Public Health division. To achieve this, services provided include Immunizations, WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) Program, STD Prevention & Treatment, Communicable Disease investigation, educational programming, collection and distribution of vital records like birth and death certificates, and much more.
