FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: December 22, 2006 CONTACT: Christmas Tree Recycling Ends January 22 St. Charles County, MO - If you haven't done it yet, this is the last chance to recycle your live Christmas tree. Drop-off sites will close on Monday, January 22. St. Charles County is partnering with our communities and the Missouri Department of Conservation in offering this free service. Your tree will benefit our environment by being turned into mulch or fish habitat. Be sure to remove the tree stand, decorations, and plastic bag or tree cover before leaving your Christmas tree at one of the following locations.
Non-foil gift boxes and wrapping paper can be recycled at Recycle Works West, 2110 E. Pitman Ave. in Wentzville, or Recycle Works Central, 60 Triad South Dr. in St. Peters.
