Knowledge and Preparedness

St. Charles County, like any urban area, is exposed to a variety of both natural and man-made hazards. These may include floods, tornadoes, earthquakes, blizzards, material spills and fires. Having the knowledge of what to do in such an emergency and being prepared for such an event are essential to "weathering the storm" safely.

Knowlege about such events provides you with an understanding of what to expect, and being prepared for an event will lay out a plan of action in pre-arranged steps to get you and your family through such an event safely.
