NOTE: These frequencies have been
obtained from FCC records and other public sources. We do
not list tactical or surveillance frequencies for security
reasons. It is not our position to present municipal communications
systems. Please contact individual cities directly for their
monitoring information. It is very easy to misinterpret something
you hear on a scanner. St. Charles County does not encourage
any citizen action based on information obtained by monitoring.
Remember, federal law prohibits you from divulging the contents
of what you hear, using any of the information you hear to
commit a crime, or using any information you hear for personal
gain. You may be arrested for interfering with a public safety
official performing their duty if you elect to go to a scene.
Do not go to an incident scene unless it is your job to be
there and you were called specifically. You may not record,
rebroadcast or webcast any St. Charles County system without
the express written permission of St. Charles County Government.
You may not transmit on any St. Charles County frequency unless
you are an authorized volunteer or employee of the County
or of a participating public safety agency and are using FCC
"Type Accepted" equipment.
